New Arrival: A Mazak VARIAXIS i-700 NEO 5-Axis Machining Center

Our Shenzhen plant has taken delivery of a Mazak VARIAXIS i-700 NEO — a simultaneous 5-axis vertical machining center. Complex custom parts can now be finished in a single setup, with tighter tolerances and fewer handovers between processes.

What just landed

The machine has been unloaded, moved indoors and positioned in our workshop, with installation and commissioning in progress.

It is a 15,000 kg Japanese-built 5-axis machining center with a tilting and rotating pallet, a 12,000 rpm spindle and Mazatrol control.

Why a machine tool matters to a buyer: on a custom project, the number of setups drives cost, lead time and tolerance risk. Parts that used to travel across three or four operations — sometimes on two machines — can now be machined in one.

Why this matters for your parts

  • One setup instead of three. Features on five faces of an aluminum housing are cut without re-clamping — fewer dimensional errors, shorter process route.
  • Complex geometry, no compromise. Angled holes, contoured surfaces, deep pockets and undercuts can now be machined continuously.
  • Accuracy that holds on repeat orders. High-rigidity construction keeps the part in batch 10 matching the part in batch 1.
  • Faster prototype to production. Faster prototypes and pilot runs before tooling is committed for die casting or injection molding.

Where it fits in our production line

The new machine adds 5-axis capacity to a chain that already covers casting, machining, molding and finishing in-house — so tolerance responsibility stays with one team.

Process Typical custom parts
Aluminum & zinc die casting ADC12 housings, CCTV and security camera housings, electronic enclosures
CNC machining (incl. 5-axis) Machined housings, brackets, locking blocks, valve and machinery parts
Precision injection molding ABS / PC enclosures, project boxes, custom boxes
Sheet metal fabrication & stamping 5052 aluminum chassis, frames, laser-cut parts
Extrusion & finishing 6061 / 6063 profiles, anodizing, powder coating, brushing, zinc plating

Lead time, MOQ and drawing formats

Prototyping Typically 15–30 days from confirmed drawing
Mass production Quoted per project — tooling, volume and finishing affect the schedule
MOQ Flexible. Pilot runs from a single piece are possible
Drawings we accept STEP / STP, IGES, PDF, DXF, DWG

Have a part that needs 5-axis machining?

Send us your drawing and we will tell you how it should be made — and what it will cost. To quote accurately, we need:

  • Your files — STEP / STP, IGES, PDF, DXF or DWG
  • Material and surface finish
  • Target quantity — prototype, pilot run or mass production
  • Application, plus any critical tolerance or fit

Every drawing is reviewed by our engineering team and answered with a written quotation and DFM feedback. No obligation.
