Three people, one part, and a steel ruler on a white table. That is where most decisions about your job actually get made. A custom part rarely fails because a machine was too slow — it fails because something was not said early enough.
We build to the customer print. Files arrive as STEP / STP, IGES, DXF, DWG or PDF, and one engineer reads the drawing end to end before anyone talks about price — tolerances, wall thickness, draft, parting line, which faces are cosmetic, which surfaces get machined after casting.
If something on the print will make tooling harder, the part costlier or the lead time longer, we say so before the quotation, not after the purchase order. We build to your drawing and we do not sell design work — but we will tell you what your print is asking the process to do.
Most internal debate is about which route makes the part best, not whether it can be made:
Whoever owns the project makes the call and defends it in front of the toolmaker — so the person quoting your job is the person who has to understand it.
We ask what the part does inside the assembly, which dimension is genuinely critical and which is merely convenient, and which surface the end user will touch. A print measured to three decimals on every face is a print nobody can afford. An apprentice can challenge a senior toolmaker's gate position if the data supports it — evidence wins arguments, seniority only breaks ties.

A ruler on the bench is not a substitute for a CMM report — it is the fast first pass that decides whether a part is worth measuring properly. Once tooling is approved, sampling typically runs 15–30 days, and the sample reaches you with a dimensional report, not just photographs. Mass production lead time is quoted per project and confirmed in the quotation itself — we would rather give you a real number than a comfortable one.
Day to day the debates are numeric: CMM dimensional reports, salt spray results on coated and plated parts, thermal resistance on heat sink housings, material certificates and RoHS documentation. Our quality system is built around IATF 16949, so a buyer on the other side of the world can verify a claim instead of trusting it.
